This 110V MIG welder seems like a good option for light duty jobs, but there are a couple of things to consider before you buy it.

Good value for beginners, but with a couple of drawbacks: Overall, reviewers seem happy with the welder for the price. They mention decent build quality and good performance. It’s also portable and easy to use, which is great for beginners. However, there are a couple of downsides. First, the face shield that comes with it is cheaply made. Second, one reviewer who used it for 10 hours ran into some trouble. After 3 hours of use, they had to crank up the wire feed motor to the highest setting just to get it to work properly. Also, this welder seems to have a bit of a slow start compared to other similar welders.

So, if you’re a beginner looking for a good value on a light-duty welder, this could be a good option, but just be aware of the limitations and plan to replace the face shield. Read more…
